The biography of Mark is a full of steep turns and adventurous events. Musically socialised from Hardcore Punk over to New Wave coming to electronic music he accidentally became a Dj at the age of sixteen. Pray the day when he first touched a turntable. Mark became one of the hardest working DJs travelling around the world to bring good music to your ears.
Messenger of Techno, House and later on also for Acid Jazz he bridged between Laid-back music and dance music.
Now with the release of Fabric 40 Mark proves that a laid-back feeling can make walls tumbling down.
A colourful and vivid mix with so many accents. Rare and known material from different directions, genres, countries put together to a beautiful ensemble. The tracklist looks like a map with many handwritten notices from its owner. I must admit that I just knew seven of the twenty one tracks, but listening to the mix, was like meeting friends you haven’t seen for years.
It’s strange but this mix owns a kind of smell of summer. A easy and high spirit feeling without playing “light” music. I think this is the result of the way how he sequenced the tracks and the way he mixed them, an unbelievable “safe” and laid- back feeling comes out of your speakers. The balance between club and laid back feeling is seamless. The whole set gives you the feeling that you are standing near the Dj booth… Ah but you prefer to relax on your armchair? No problem, this stunning mix works wherever you are and what you like to do. Music is the message, good music is the key!

A wonderful release that will ignite the summer!
