Dinner is served! Raoul Sinier also known as Ra went back to his kitchen to create a tasty snack. Snack? Yes prepare your dishes, after “Huge Samurai Radish” you should have more appetite for Raoul’s next big menue in the beginning of 2008 which will be called “Brain Kitchen”.
“Huge Samurai Radish” is what I expected from Raoul Sinier, but don’t get me wrong I expected that he astonish me again and again. On this appetizer you will hear that this multitalented artist is driven by the idea combing his Hip-Hop roots with intelligent electronica. At the end he creates music that can hardly described by using the known terms. But besides the fact that Raoul’s music could be named art or better say an integrated artwork, this music is fun. Yes it owns wit and I mean it in the best and positivist meaning this is music you like to consume… without any regrets.
Huge Samurai Radish also offers three remix versions of the title track done by Raoul’s Sublight Label mates Datach’I, Wisp and Lynx&Ram. These remixes prove everything that I told you before, even each of this version represents the remixer very personal, you can hear the essence of Raoul’s music. I mean you couldn’t take artists which sound more different like Datach’I who combines nightmares with living soundscapes and ultra fast snaredrums, Wisp who owns a very special dreamy and symphonic sound and of course Lynx&Ram with their electronica wave punk interpretation. But in the end you won’t be misled you will say this is Raoul!

A brilliant album - that leaves with more appetite and a roaring stomach. 10+
