Are you also one of those who start roll eyes if someone states “Things used to be better in the past…”. But sometimes I yearn for the times when there was no autotune and beats and sounds where produced with a  ProphetV and a TB303.
Berlin based exceptional artist Georg Levin is one of those artists who believes in good simple things without being outdated. Born and raised in a small town at the river Elbe in Lower Saxony, Northern Germany, where he played keyboards and saxophone in various local bands. Later after a few years in London joining the Goldsmith College University and working at a music television channel he returned to Germany to work at a film company in Berlin. After working several years in this business, driven by a kind of dissatisfaction of his day job and his musical ambition, he teamed up with Dixon to create new music. One result of this collaboration is the project Wahoo. Later on in 2003 they started to produce Georg first solo album called “Can’t hold back.” After touring with Dixon around the world and creating the first Wahoo album with several collaborations ´, which was critically highly acclaimed, Georg started to work on a new solo album. He founded a new band for this album and teamed up with the BBE label to release his newest masterpiece… or shall I say statement in March 2010.
“Everything Must Change” is a statement with a double meaning and it’s a pearl of modern soul music. Georg the blue-eyed soulwonder created an album that merges styles like dance, black pop and soul music together to a new sound experience. The feeling intelligent lyrics are embedded in genius music. Demanding but not too “heavy” – moody, euphoric and heart touching. This album magically becomes a timeless atmosphere by listening to it. It makes it audience addicted by dispersing a bewitching deep atmosphere. This music is made with soul and heart and Georg’s voice will impress you and touch your heart. An album made to play in clubs and for home listening…  a genius masterpiece with soul! Perfect ten ++++
Beauty of the month.
